Marian O'Brien has spent over 20 years working as a Talent, Management & Leadership and Training professional in the Financial Services industry, working for Morgan Stanley, Barclays and Deutsche Bank.
She has held many senior HR positions and has lived in London, Hong Kong and New York, whilst managing global teams, developing and executing complex human capital strategies, transformation and change projects.
She is a practising development professional, coach and facilitator.
Marian's passion is working with individuals and teams to help them identify those opportunities of clarity - lightbulb moments - and to develop thoughtful action plans.
As a natural communicator and collaborator, her style is pragmatic, creative, agile, commercial and systematic. In her own words: "I like to solve problems and help people and teams map out where they are going and help them get there."
Prior to working in the HR Talent, Management & Leadership space, Marian worked in retail, corporate banking and hotel management.
She has an interest in experiential and accelerated learning, is CIPD qualified and certified in MBTI Type l & ll, SDI and NLP. She has extensive competency, leadership capability and team effectiveness framework knowledge and experience.
On a personal level, Marian loves to travel, is a keen amateur photographer, enjoys the arts and spending time with her family and friends.
